Buying or selling isn't a small decision, and there's a real difference between someone who knows this market and someone who lives in it.

MEET DOUG

Doug is a fourth-generation REALTOR® with a finance degree and nearly two decades of building, scaling, and exiting digital businesses, which included niche content brands and online membership communities — an industry that lives and dies by spotting where markets are heading before everyone else does.

The whole time, he was also buying and investing in real estate himself, from RV parks to cabins to short-term rentals, not watching from the sidelines.

That background shapes everything about how he works. Doug spots long-term value where others see surface. He understands how markets move before they move. And he helps clients make decisions they won't second-guess five years from now.

Doug and his family relocated from Austin to Fredericksburg, not for a change of scenery, but because this is where they wanted to build their life. That move gave him something no amount of market research can replicate: ground-level knowledge of what it actually looks like to plant roots here. He knows the land, the neighborhoods, the nuances, and the people.

Today he works across residential, land, and ranch properties throughout the Texas Hill Country — Fredericksburg, Blanco, and the communities in between. Whether you're after acreage, a legacy property, or a home with room to breathe, his approach is hands-on, strategic, and built around your actual goals.

OUTSIDE OF REAL ESTATE

Away from real estate, Doug is a true gear-head and has competed in some of the most demanding motorsport events in the country: a class winner and four-time consecutive competitor at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, a King of the Hammers UTV racer, and the designer of a custom motorcycle featured by Indian Motorcycle at Sturgis. The same wiring, detail-driven, hands-on, always pushing for better, shows up every day in how he serves his clients.

WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY

  • A kitchen with wooden open shelves holding bowls, books, glasses, and mugs. A window above the sink shows greenery outside. A coffee maker and a bowl of apples are on the counter, with a towel hanging near the sink. Kitchen utensils hang on a rack, and there are decorative candles and a small plant on the counter.

He Went Above and Beyond, Literally

“We had an outstanding experience working with Doug. We were purchasing a property remotely, which added a layer of complexity to the process. Doug was incredibly flexible with our schedule and went above and beyond to make sure we had the information and support we needed every step of the way.

He worked around tight rental schedules to get us access to the property, helped connect us with trusted local professionals including a mortgage lender, plumber, fence expert, and property management company, and even contacted the city on our behalf to research questions regarding the STR permit, site plan, and fencing possibilities. Throughout negotiations, Doug was a strong advocate for our interests while remaining practical and solutions-oriented.

His knowledge of short-term rental properties, responsiveness, local connections, and commitment to helping us find the right fit made all the difference. We are incredibly grateful for his hard work and would highly recommend Doug to anyone looking to buy property in the Fredericksburg area.“

  • Land Sale in Texas Hill Country

Hill Country Land Sale, Handled Right

“From the very beginning, Doug made us feel comfortable and confident about the process. He is knowledgeable, honest, patient, and genuinely cares about the people he works with. His knowledge of the Hill Country land market was invaluable, but what we appreciated most was the personal attention he gave us along the way. He was always there when we had a question, kept us informed, and made the entire process much easier than we expected.

Selling a property can be a big and sometimes emotional decision, and it meant a lot to have someone we trusted guiding us through it. We always felt that Doug had our best interests at heart.

We’re truly grateful for everything Doug did for us and very pleased with the outcome. We wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to work with him again, and we wholeheartedly recommend Doug to anyone looking to buy or sell land in the Hill Country.”

Closed in 3 Weeks, No Stress

“Doug Siddens is one of the most thorough, professional, and friendly Real Estate agents that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business.

We had multiple options for what we described that we were looking to purchase; he all ran the traps and was extremely knowledgeable about each individual home, and presented the pros and cons on each property! Everything was also extremely easy because Doug was educated and used the latest in modern technology regarding Real Estate and also had the ability to share digital platforms, that saved measurable time on back and forth travel on documents that required a signature or two.

Everything fell into place quickly with the title company and a last minute survey, and we were able to close within pressed 3 week window! Doug has built solid relationships in all facets of the Real Estate world in the Hill Country, which evident when he went into offices (they all knew his name and smiled) or when he simply made a quick phone call and was granted instant access!

I would highly recommend Doug Siddens as your agent for Buying and Selling, and I assure you, that we will be our go to Agent for any of our Real Estate listings or acquisitions in the future!”

    No Question Felt Too Small

“As first-time homebuyers, my husband and I had very little knowledge of the process. We found a home we wanted to see in person and scheduled with Doug. From the very first conversation, it was clear how authentic and knowledgeable he was.

Throughout the entire process, he treated us with respect, explained each step, and never made us feel uncomfortable for asking questions. He provided genuine feedback on what we should prioritize with the house, which was incredibly helpful.

Doug is kind, caring, and truly passionate about his work. We would absolutely work with him again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home or property.”
